The fiddliest bits are the wheel-centres. The threads a very fine, and I was scared of cross-threading them ! affraid

Staying in the Ferrari vein, here`s some pics of my Kyosho Ferrari 250 GTO. It`s an absolutely stunning model.

I just can`t seem to stop buying Ferraris at the minute ! They`re just so damn gorgeous !

My latest addition is Mattel`s Elite F430 in 1/18. I`m very impressed with the quality of this model. It`s definitely a distinct improvement in quality over their previous releases. I actually think the F430 is the most beautiful of all the modern Ferraris. Cool

Can reallly see the difference in detail comparing my basic entry one to that!

Still, is it worth the price?

It is in AUTOart territiory, being priced at 59.99. However, as no one else is making these models in 1/18, I`ve no choice but to buy Mattel.

If they keep improving their quality and keep the price static, then I`ll be happier ! Smile

Thats the problem with ferrari, (I love buying them too, just got to stop for a long while), its Mattel or Mattel Elite, normally I go for the previous, cheaper one.

But the price being AutoArt territory, i spose for us ferrari road car fans, there aint much other choice. AT least its not Super Elite proce range

Mattel are, quite frankly, taking the piss with their Super Elite prices ! affraid They`re virtually GMP and CMC prices, and they don`t even come close in terms of quality or detail.

Yet another Ferrari ! This is another Kyosho release. Sadly, their licence to produce Ferrari models expired on 31st Dec past. Sad

Just a couple of pics tonight, as I haven`t yet edited the others.

That Ferrari looks beautiful, and that's coming from somebody who does not really like classic cars.

I`ve had this beaut for a couple of years now, so I thought I`d better take some pics. Smile It`s the `04 Imprezza of Petter Solberg and is by AutoArt in 1/18.

Now, if only I could pick up a Richard Burns Scooby at the right money................
