I bought this from a local model shop as a crimbo pressie to myself a couple of days ago. It`s Mattel`s 1/18 Elite Ferrari 288GTO. It`s a gorgeous model, and shows a marked improvement in quality over Mattel`s models from a year ago. The one area where Mattel need improvement is in their packaging. There`s too much cardboard held together with sellotape.

Still, it`s a lovely model. Here she is.

It`s such a lovely model, I couldn`t stop snapping ! Very Happy

I bought this yesterday. It`s the first in DeAgostini`s new 1/72 tank collection. I`ve already placed my order with the newsagents. Smile

I`m not sure how many issues there`ll be. In the first issue there are only about 7 or 8 featured, but I`m sure there`ll be loads more. I placed my standing order with the newsagent ( instead of with DeAgostini ) as I can cancel at any time.

The quality is quite good ( it`s diecast with some plastic ). It`s maybe not up to Dragon Armour`s standards, but for 6.99 I`m not complaining. Very Happy

Yet another Ferrari. This is Mattel`s 1/18 Schumacher Enzo.
While it is not what you`d call a beautiful car ( like the 250 GTO ) it`s a striking car. I`ll only post some of the many pics I took of it.

These Ferraris are addictive; I`ve just ordered GMP`s astonishing 1/18 Ferrari 330 P4 from Toronto Motorsports in Canada. Even allowing for import duties, it`ll still be about 50-60 cheaper than if I bought it in the UK.Very Happy

Here`s a link to my PB album if you want to see the rest.
