Rather than start a new topic for every model, I`ll just add pics to this thread from now on.
Fist of all, an 'old school' supercar, the Lotus Esprit Turbo, 170mph from a 2.2 litre !

Yep, it`s a Solido. The one area they could do with improving is the thickness of the aerials; they`re far too thick.
UT are quality. Hardly surprising really, as they are now trading as Minichamps.

For the money though, Solido's are great quality, i have a Martin Ford and Burns' Pug, but i think a UT Cossie will be next on my list when i have some money Very Happy

I have that one also. They are terrific value for money, more so since Sunstar increased their prices by approximately 10. Sad

I`ll post these in answer to 5mith`s question on the 'General model discussion' thread. It`s the Minichamps 1/12 Loris Capirossi 'First win' Ducati. I really like this model, especially the 'scrubbed' tyres. It`s also slightly 'weathered' to simulate the dirt accumulated during a race.

I waited quite a while before I managed to buy this. I actually bought it off Markus. Typical quality from AutoArt.

I won this off e-bay recently for 29.99 inc. p&p. Well chuffed. It`s by UT, and is 1/18.

I never thought I would like green, but that green GT3-RS looks stunning ! Cool Every time I see one that colour, it reminds me of the 'Hamster' driving the green RS in Top Gear`s 'Best driving road in the world' special.

Green does look decent, that would be my second favourite colour. May as well have it in a werid colour. Very Happy

I suspect Calden might like this. Wink I bought it from the USA quite a few years ago, and I`ve never seen one since. It`s in 1/43 and is by Skid.

And yes, it was driven by Alain Prost !

I must get around to converting it to proper Marlboro livery. Rolling Eyes

i do admit that im not to keen on green, that is the whole point in having car's like that, if i had the chance to get a real Lambo LP640 it would be in metallic banana yellow with red alcantara interior & graphite wheels bounce

Oh I agree, mad cars like the 997 GT3 and LP-640 need to be in bizzare colours. Same with the Koinegsegg, orange please. Razz
