Mexico is planning to be on next year's F1 calendar.

Jose Abed, Mexico's representative at F1's governing FIA, has been quoted as saying the venue for the 2014 race will be the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, in Mexico City.

The track last hosted F1 in 1992, but Bernie Ecclestone has said it is not suitable for modern Grands Prix unless a major upgrade is done.

I really hope Formula 1 returns to the old circuit. A modern F1 car going through the final turn would be a spectacular sight (without the chicane before the fast right hand turn). After A1GP left, I'm not sure if any major racing happens there now at the road course. More recently, it produced some amazing racing in A1GP, Champ Car and NASCAR.

I miss the Rodriguez circuit.

Not going to happen!

And the only circuit could never get up to code. They built a baseball stadium
Inside the final corners so there not much room to expand.
