Quote :
It was contact with Brazilian Senna's Williams that spun Vettel around on the first lap at Interlagos, and caused significant bodywork and exhaust damage that almost cost the German his third consecutive drivers' title.

Vettel said immediately after the race: "The grave of Ayrton Senna is here in Sao Paulo. Maybe someone has to go there and tell him what his nephew did today."

Wow, that's a new low IF Vettel did say that. It's especially ugly since Vettel turned into Bruno, leaving the latter nowhere to go.

I'm sensing a new level of cockiness from Vettel in general, from back markers to bitching about being overtaken. In trying to be so savvy in front of the camera, he tries too hard to be cool.

Nothing is ever baby Vettel's fault, is it? It was Senna's fault, when Vettel crashed into Webber in Turkey - apparently Webber was the crazy one.

Last year in Brazil, Vettel had to short shift in second/third during the Grand Prix, he said: "I feel like Senna in 1991". Yeah right, Senna was completely stuck in fourth gear - try driving like that Vettel and see how far you get. Rolling Eyes

Ferrari should have instructed Massa to take Vettel out - Alonso champion!!! Wink Wink Wink Razz Razz Razz Laughing

In my opinion, Vettel overtook under a yellow flag - this also makes Nando champion. Wink Wink Laughing Laughing

From what I've heard that's a true story.

However there would be no point has Bruno is not related to Aryton.

I think its sick, if Vettel did say it. He's using a dead person to reinforce his point, and its strange considering Bruno played no role in the accident.

Hmm, well, Webber also drove the championship winning car...I'll leave it up to others - I don't mind. Smile

Perhaps mediocrity would be better celebrated?

A Lotus Indycar
An HRT
A Mini WRC
Not sure if it was last year an Aston Martin AMR-One
Ducati Motogp bike.

Assuming a similar style if presentation of course.

I don't mind that, after all, we should definitely be celebrating the success of HRT in their final season of Formula 1. Laughing

Erm, his mum was Ayrton's sister... how does that make him "not related"?!!?

I consider myself related to my niece...

Thinking back, Massa was often close to Vettel in the Grand Prix. Perhaps Massa should have been more like Massa and rear-ended Vettel? Alonso champion!!! Twisted Evil Laughing Wink

Take the lesson from the legendary Flavio Briatore. Want to win? Just crash! Wink

Meaning, what?!?!

Ayrton's sister was Bruno's mother... that makes them related...

So why say they weren't?

Blimey... that's a conspiracy theory and a half... was Bruno complicit in 9/11 too?!

Sean

In Bruno had been in 9/11 he would have missed. He wasn't involved in anyway.

The fact is that Bruno is living of his name, if his surname wasn't Senna he wouldn't be in F1.

He isn't talented enough to be in a F1 car, even though he brings in sponsorship there are still better drivers out there than can bring in sponsorship.

i have never rated Bruno & never will.

On the other hand, Danica Patrick wouldn't be where she is without being female.

That's a fitting description for Danica as well, I've never rated her either. Wink Bruno has won more races than Danica has in his career, Danica has one fuel mileage IndyCar win.

I don't think Bruno was that bad. He showed good speed in F3 and GP2 (with wins), and that form in lower series certainly warranted a look at F1. Although Bruno has been dumped for Bottas, it could be said that Maldonado wasted a lot of points opportunities and blew too hot and cold.
