Well clearly this will be the WTCC finale, with Rob Huff leading the points. After Menu and Muller clashed in Shanghai, itís given Huff an important lead into this weekend. Címon Huff, heís secured the pole Ė go and get that title.

Sadly, however, proceedings have gotten off to an ugly start. Phillip Yau, driving a Chevrolet Cruze has died after getting trapped in his car from the Chinese Touring Car Championship. Motorcyclist Luis Carreira also passed away earlier this week, also due to an accident.

RIP to Phillip Yau and Luis Carreira. Sad

So, Rob Huff is the 2012 WTCC champion. Iíve got to say, WTCC is usually deeply snoozy, but that was fine motor racing. Thank goodness that Huff had a comfortable pointís gap to Muller and Menu, with his damaged car in race 1.

Yvan Muller showed today why he didnít deserve to be the champion. His shove of McDowell was very clumsy, that was a nasty wreck Ė itís never nice to see a square-on impact. Muller shoved cars at Sonoma, Shanghai and now today Ė the championship was lost with that contact.

There was real melee at the end of race two, that BMW dislodging the kerb summed up the chaos!
