I think it will go ahead, each year there seems to be circuits listed with conditions, but they seemingly always get met.
Bernie is a crude negotiator, but he personally wants the New Jersey GP to happen. Hes long yearned for a Grand Prix with New York in the background.

I really hope F1 returns to Mexico City, that course was absolutely awesome. If they run the final turn without a crappy chicane, that would be quite something. Improve the facility, add VIP areas, whatever just retain that layout.

The calendar will surely have to expand beyond 20 events. The core European events are staying (Monaco, Britain, Germany, Italy and Spa) for the foreseeable future. An increasing number of new events are staying on the calendar, like Malaysia, China, Singapore etc. With Russia coming in 2014, and Mexico and South Africa in contention there might not be a choice.

Hmm, so Thailand has supposedly signed a deal to host a street Grand Prix at night in 2014. I really cannot see how the 2014 calendar can stay at 20 events.

The calendar will have to expand, i cannot see the point in having two races in the USA though.

It's a massive country and a massive market. But New Jersey probably won't happen anyway.
