Iím looking forward to Grand-Am at Barber; it fits in perfectly with the NASCAR Truck race at Martinsville. Past Grand-Am races at Barber have been very exciting. Interesting to see that Bleekomolen has opted to race full time for TRG.

Westbrook is doing well nowadays, glad heís found something else to be successful in after Supercup.

It was a superb race, really great battles in both classes. There some dirty driving out there though, Angelelliís shove of Law was way too obvious.

Who thought grass could be so lethal, never seen a race car being completely stopped on grass before. The deceleration was immense. I never tire of hearing the RX-8 Ė itís definitely the best sounding four cylinder car. Iím always amazed at how action packed these races are, the equalisation is very effective which keeps the field close for the fans.

If I was Law, I would have dumped Angelelli into a gravel trap after getting repairs Ė that would teach him a lesson. That last caution was awesome, it set up a five minute shootout and the racing got really crazy into the braking zones.

I didnít realise that Grand-Am returned this weekend, but theyíre racing around the Homestead-Miami Speedway road course tomorrow. Not sure if Iíve seen racing at this particular course, should be fun.

Got to respect Motors TV for showing it live, kudos to them.

Yikes, that kind of weather would be especially treacherous on the progressive banking Ė nowhere for the water to go.

saw the grand-am race from thunder bolt raceway.

Really good race. really close, I was surprised the 99 car didn't get a penalty for spining the 01 but the penalties were even though out the race.

the 01/99 made contact again and both ended there race.

The standing is tight in DP

GT was mint just close once again Ferrari back to back wins.

Grand-am is looking good belle isle next race.

I heard it was a great race, Motors TV is showing a full tape delay at 9 pm tonight, Iíll be watching.

Ah yes, Grand-Am is supporting IndyCar in Detriot. I cannot wait for that race, its going to be a caution-fest. The IndyCar races are a mess there. bounce bounce bounce

Grand-Am just produces outstanding racing.

belle isle race weekend

should be good race round the track.

looking at the races and i think Super Weekend at the Brickyard race should of been 4hours insted of 3hours as its part of the endurance crown 3hours is only 15minutes more than standard race distance....however the Schedule is brilliant.

Fogarty takes the pole

Iíve been looking forward to the Detroit round; thereís going to be carnage. Grand-Am is dicey on natural courses; on a tight street course it should be crazy with the wrecks and cautions. Belle Isle is one of those tracks which naturally induce accidents. I cannot wait for the show to erupt.

Motors TV are thankfully showing this live, I look forward to it.

As for the Indianapolis round, it is an exaggeration to state that a three hour event is endurance. However, Iím not sure I really care. If thereís a great race, Iím not bothered about the length. An extra hour is unlikely to deliver more excitement, in fact, perhaps the opposite with a long green flag run. The shorter Grand-Am races are long enough to have depth, but they donít drag on for too long either.

But for the purposes of ďenduranceĒ, yes, Indy wonít be endurance. Only Daytona and the July WGI race are ďenduranceĒ.

I really hope that Tony Stewart is still interested in driving at Indianapolis, that would be awesome.

That was simply a breathtaking race from start to finish. This circuit forces the drivers to be super aggressive to pass, because there are few braking zones. The DPís put on a sensational show, they were nose-to-tail and divebombing each other into most corners, now thatís called real racing. If I watch a motor race, I look for actual racing like that.

I felt sorry for Westbrook, ever since Supercup and FIA GT, heís been spectacular at hurling up the inside from a long way back, and still being able to make the apex of the turn. That was one costly bad move, but I appreciate the excitement he created.

The cautions were superb; they kept everything nice and close. That final restart was a great prospect; 10 minutes to go and a dash to the finish.

It was a great weekend for GM and Chevrolet; a win in DP and GT with the Camaro.

Who said that ďsportscarĒ racing had to be all about snoozy pit strategy? Grand-Am puts those theories to bed. Grand-Am puts on a terrific show, itís probably the most underrated series out there.

I think westy would of won if he hadn't made the move.

I think Grand-am is good because its different.

We have grand-am style racing and we have ACO style racing, SRO racing it what racing good.

Grand-Am sets the standard where it matters; on-track action.

Not sure what makes Grand-Am is so exciting, it really is too underrated. Even though passing is tough at Detroit, to be three-wide with DPís on the front stretch was thrilling.

stream i had was dodgy but ok.

westy was just mega! massive lead and held of 01 well for lasy 7minutes. the 01 move on the 10 was brilliant.

10 luck just get worst. horrible but that is hard racing.

i am suprised how well the grand-am 458 is going new car and just nailing it. 2nd, 11points lead.

DP points affraid so close.

Grand-am awesome once again.

Westy was awesome, but I'm not surprised Westy is one of the best racing drivers currently racing.

Pruett really is an exceptional driver. He didnít really have the car to win, with the downforce deficit he had. Yet he was harrying Westbrook at the end, who had a faster car. Thatís the driver really making the difference. Yes, Pruettís move on the SunTrust car was mega Ė not even calamity Angelelli could have blocked that move.

What is the problem with the SunTrust team? Angelelli especially drives stupidly, always getting involved in unnecessary contact.

Really nice to see Bill Auberlen win GT in the BMW M3, he drove very well at the end.

Mid-Ohio is usually shit for racing, yet that was a great race Ė just shows how good Grand-Am is.
