I just need to get this out, but opions are welcome and needed.

i'm seriously considering getting a new wheel. My old g25 has been there for ages now and i want something fancy and new. I keep looking at the sim raceway wheel, I know it's only a toy but it looks nice. I didn't want one until i didn't win one, lol. The two real contenders are the Thrustmaster t500 with the ferrari wheel and the fanatec clubsport with the formula rim and I have no idea what to get or why and I have no idea why I want a new one.

End

I finally did it. To be honest it's taken quite some time to get used to it. I've had it a week and am only now getting close to how I want it. I'm defiantly going to add the Ferrari f1 wheel but at the moment I just have the standard version and it's nice. It's not a huge step up from the g25 but it's a step up certainly. To be honest it's vicious and holding onto it takes some effort Smile

I finally started play P&G V3 and it's a bit step forward from the last version and GTL but I ran into an odd problem.

That being the T500rs it's actually too vicious and to be honest using a Ferrari f1 wheel with an early 1970's Porsche was just silly. I went back to the my old G25 and got quite a shock. After having the T500 for a while I was struggling to it apart from the G25 and wasn't really sure it was that much better. Well the G25 is the right wheel for a 1960's or 70's cars, it now feels like a toy.

It would be the equivalent of learning to drive in Nissan Micra and then buying a Ferrari 458 as your first car. It's that bigger step.

How would one know if a wheel is realistic or not, with how different they all are?

honestly i have no idea, but one feels better than the other

The T500rs is smoother, has stronger force feedback, no deadzone, etc, etc.
