This is a great race, so many accidents and cautions - this is real racing with all these cautions. Razz

Its always been that way, but the diesel cars do sound amazingly crap. The R18 onboard sounded like a toned down tractor.

Sadly the noise of a car doesn't change from Continent to Continent.

I need another caution right now...

No comparison to a bellowing Aston-Martin petrol V12. Compared to a petrol V12 these diesels sound dreadful, they shouldn't be allowed in motorsport.

This traffic could decide the LMP1 outcome, the lead changes whenever somebody gets fucked by slower cars.

I maybe too safety conscious, but having all these classes with such huge speed differences is just a recipe for disaster. The sheer differences in straight line speeds, braking and cornering means that big accidents are always going to occur. Its not just dangerous, but its also bloody expensive for teams to repair these sophisticated cars. The problem has existed for years.

I don't these traffic accidents are anybody's fault; prototype drivers cannot always anticipate slower cars movements ahead, and GT drivers cannot be expected to recognise a faster car every time. The P1 and P2 cars should either be pegged back or the GT cars should be made faster to bridge the gap between both types of car.

its going to happen every race and with lots of cars, its going to happen more often.

Peugeot also won the overall championship, Audi have sucked except at Le Mans in recent years. Their races tend to go upside down for some reason.

you would think Audi would win. their is much stronger than the pugs but Audi keep messing up its first time since Peugeot return that they are on the level turns with cars......not good. Audi should of won more race. Neutral
