| This is my favourite 24 hour race in terms of pure entertainment. I remember in 2009 when the top three were seperated by 15 seconds with half an hour to go. Plus, the drivers seem to treat the race like a 24 hour sprint race - it's action packed racing from start to finish.
Ganassi have got an awesome line up in the number 2 car, it includes Montoya, Franchitti and Dixon: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/88810
Five-time NASCAR champion will be racing for the Gainsco Chevrolet team as well.
Full line up here: http://www.grand-am.com/schedule/entrylist.cfm?series=r&eid=2350
Hopefully Europsport not only show the race live, but show more of it.. |

| I remember Eurosport only showed the start, some of the night time running and the end. That isn't good enough, I want at least 15 hours of coverage as acceptable.
Failing that, somebody on justin tv will show the Speed TV coverage from America. |

you will not get 15hours of coverage. i can tell you that now. The way wintersports is on eurosport that will take lot of time up with alpine skiing(which i watch and is mint) baithlon, ski jumping and cross country skiing....they all hugely popular in europe. the four hill ski jumping was great the crowds were huge also in munich in the alpine skiing so.........
.......i would stick with justin tv i did last year. |

i know they have the same problem with tennis and things during the summer. I think eurosport need 4 channels at least, if not 6.
Actually there is another way, something any racing series with a 24 hour race should do, called radio le mans and beg for them to come and do radio commentary of there event. |

| I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that Eurosport has too few channel's. For the amount of stuff they show, they really ought to have three channels. Sky Sports have four channels and as a result their schedule's are not so squeezed.
Nicolas Minassian to drive for Krohn Racing: http://www.grand-am.com/news/index.cfm?series=r&cid=40936
A BMW 128i is going to enter the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge: http://www.grand-am.com/news/index.cfm?series=k&cid=40911
What an unusual car to enter racing, in Europe its called the BMW 125i.

| the one series bmw isn't a bad race car, one year a 130d finished 7th overall at the nurby 24 hour, so don't write it off yet. |

They do need other channels for the amount of stuff they show. i wonder what the differance is in europe compare to the uk, because there some slalom on a not long a go at night and we saw the first run but the 2nd wasn't shown live in the UK but it was shown all over europe just not the UK.........
but yes they do need extra channels could easily have 3/4 channels in the winter for amount winter sports they show. |

Or at least a sort of red button system to show overflow events, like the BBC do for the Olympics where they may feel the viewing figures may not merit the creation of full new channels but showing additional events interactively. |

| Eurosport could easily have a red button service, imagine watching a decent number of hours of the Daytona 24 Hours? BBC don't put the F1 practice sessions on their TV channels, so they just stick it on the the red button - simple. Why Eurosport, who frankly are not poor, cannot do the same for motorsport is baffling.
