That was an outstanding race - well worth staying up for - good wins also for Greaves Motorsport, and the two Corvette teams in the GTs

Interesting no-one picked up on that in the commentary - especially considering the magnitude of the crashes we saw in the race, that befell the other Audis

It was a brilliant night on the forum throughout the race - even though I had to take a break for a couple of hours but still it was an epic night - my third TV Le Mans and has to have been the best one so far

Brilliant job by Skoda to win the race, despite having two of their cars totally wrecked in the race. That team in the number 2 Skoda could be the new McNish/Capello/Kristensen superpower. All three drivers rose to a new level when need be.

What a great race and great result !!!! the forum was good again this year, well done those who managed to say up all night and for those who did their best to try. I only have one gripe !!!! eurosport !!! the coverage of the race was great ! but on one channel change over, we had on both channels showing tennis ( the same game ) which seemed to go on for ages !! BUT in the UK was missed out on 7 1/2 hrs live coverage ! because eurosport in this country did not show the 4hrs of free practice on wednesday afternoon, or the free practice wednesday night ! and on Thursday 1st qualifying section only 30 mins of it was shown, the total hrs of qualifying shown was 4 1/2 hrs instead of the 6 hrs !! AND the 24mins daily programme which was to be transmitted at 6.30 was always late ! one night it was an hr late ! I got fed up of watching the SAME bike crash programme while waiting for it. Why can't eurosport devote one channel to LEMANS all week ! and show the whole of it as did motors tv !from the scrutineering to the end of the race BUT APART FROM ALL THAT, IT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND AND I CAN'T WAITING UNTIL NEXT YEARS LEMANS TO START AGAIN .

You should be used to Euroshit's dodgy motorsport coverage by now Chris.

With how often they delay motorsport because of some other crappy sport over-running, its any wonder that Euroshit show motor racing.

Personally, I'm glad that I don't have to hear Martin Haven for a while. He speaks far, far too much and argues live on air with anyone who dares to disagree with him. Twat.

yeah it was a very good race one of the best, with only 14 seconds between first & second after 24 hours !

the Eurosport issue i tend to agree somewhat, when Motors TV had it they were the first to show it for the full 24 hours but when Audi forced it back to Eurosport, Eurosport had little choice to show it for the 24 hours to, they don't film it themselves it's done by someone else & i agree that it really should be shown the full 24 hours which it is near enough, i would have thought that as it's only once a year they could accommodate it better, as for the presenters or commentators i have no problem with them, they have been doing it for years & do a pretty good all round job, the only thing i was Mad about was the podiums because they showed the LMP one getting the trophies but they didn't show any of the others, i really wanted to see the Ford GT drivers up there getting their reward for the hard work they put in as the Ford GT is pretty uncompetitive with no Ford backing at all & on a very limited budget, throughout all the years that LeMans was on it's knees these type of teams have carried it through & without them LeMans wouldn't be where it is today, the other drivers deserve as much credit as the LMP drivers.

to be honest, i think eurosport coverage of race was better from midnight or something it was british eurosport one channel.

I can't comment on the commentators as i had the sound down and i listened to radio le mans, which was brilliant.

i do have bias opinion of it been on eurosport as i do not have motors TV and i pefer eurosport or i wouldn't beable to watch le mans on TV like i did in 2007 when i just listen to it!

24 minutes what can you say!........first of all the lead presanter guy not a clue. i do think its ok keeping everyone up to date with stuff going but better showing practice session and quali. Johnny herbert was brilliant le mans insight is great. good luck to him at the N24

big_AL not sure if simliar radio le mans went off quite soon after the race which they normal don't do but eurosport always go off quickly......happen last year. if i remember

Justine quailty once again......didn't see much of her, didn't see much pit reporting. Question

eurosport try to do too much, its french run company called TF1........but i mean so much to cover, they cover bikes, tennis, football,ILMC(shocked that showed all 6hours of spa) when they had bike crashes what was that all about.

amazing le mans other great event. Brilliant result.

Audi are good losers and even more gracious winners, peugeot as well as being bad winners are very bad losers hense all the blocking tactics at le mans.

But whats really interesting is Peugeot Fired Pedro Lamy while he was still driving in the car, during the race.

i understanding Peugeot firing people after 2 le mans loses.....but during the race is harsh but i am surprised QUESNEL has stayed. they got rid of the other guy after 2008 season finished.

Alex Wurz might be going aswell?.........
