I remember seeing that now.

The Aco would chuck the Audi's out if a french car could win

If they're illegal DQ them, certainly looked it to me when i was watching. Bit embarrassing for the ACO to have to do it 4 days later, but they will get even more accused of favouring the diesels.

The ACO had from 3.30pm (uk) time Wednesday when free practice started until 2.00pm Sunday to see the Diesel's running they !! would have seeNthe same pictures as everyone, plus had there own observers watching what happened both on the track and off !!! AS it now is 3 days after the race ended the ACO MUST BE HAPPY WITH ALL THAT HAPPERNED over the several days of LE MANS.

As much as I would like to see all the diesels thrown out, it wont happen any time soon. As usual, the ACO only chose to look at the rules when it suits them.

I suspect the ACO will do what the FIA do, is quietly change the regulations to outlaw the exhaust positioning but not disqualify the car.s That's exactly what the FIA has done about Ferrari's flexing wings, movable floor and Red Bull's suspension components (earlier tthis year) in the past. All outlawed in the past - but the cars were never excluded from the events despite technically being illegal cars.

Anybody remember the 2009 Daytona 24 Hours? The winning Brumos Porsche was found to be underweight - but the result still stood. Its to avoid sheer humiliation as to why governing bodies do it.
