After a huge 5 week break BTCC returns to racing at Oulton Park in Cheshire. Teams went testing at Rockingham in the break with Andy Jordan setting quickest time http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/83879

Martin Johnson's father, Cliff passed away but will still be racing this weekend http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/84082

Lets hope the weather is better than Brands, wasn't pleasant being trackside there.

Good to see that BTCC is returning, I almost forgot about with the recent flurry of F1 races.

Race one was a tad boring. Race 2 was brilliant though, Plato v TOC was just classic BTCC. Plato was seizing up TOC for a number of laps, then eventually gave him a little tap to pass him.

The Ford is poor under braking, but very fast in a straight line. Plato could pull alongside TOC every time he was challenging him.

Had a really good weekend at Oulton, lucky with the weather, apart from a few spots didn't get rained on trackside, the rain was content to fall when we could hide in the tent.
Shame for Paul O'Neill with all the gearbox issues, and now means he's struggling for funds to finish the season Sad as they wern't budgeted for.
Should have finished 8th from the back of the grid in R3 but Collard had him off at Cascades on the last lap.
Martin Johnson had a torrid weekend couldn't get the Astra running properly, was struggling for traction out of all the right hand corners.
Race 2 had plenty of action, think there were only 6 cars at the end without any major damage!!

Really glad it didn't rain for you this time mate, I was picking my sister up on Sunday and on the way down to hers the rain was terrible, I couldn't see even 30ft infront of me, The spray off the cars was so bad. Lucky it must of missed the west side of the country.

How great do the ST's look now with proper rims on instead of black. Best looking car on the grid just got better.

I thought all 3 races were entertaining on Sunday as it seemed anyone was able to lead and not get away, Do we know who Andrew Jordan was getting angry with yet after the 3rd race.

Roll on Croft now.

Andy Jordan was pissed off at Andy Neate, who has subsequently been given some penalties including losing the position he finished in.
