To be a twin turbo V6 diesel, possible with some kind of Kenetic energy recovery onboard.

Are the 2011 LMP1 rules favouring smaller engines with fewer cylinders then? A shame it's still diesel, funnily enough Audi sell more petrol cars then diesel cars. And in the world's biggest car market, China, diesel passenger cars are virtually non-existant.

Interesting to read that KERS will be used, quite handy when overtaking slower cars I suspect, and having that extra acceleration when a driver needs it. I'm not sure if the regulations will allow it, but in theory, the car could temporarily
run on electric power only, using less diesel by exlusively running on KERS to reduce fuel consumption.

I believe the kers will be used to aid fuel consumtion as that is more important.

The aco are going to smaller capacitys, the current engines are resticted so much anyway I can't see the size reduction slowing them much. P2 are going to a gt2 enigne ( like a1gp using the 430 gt2 engine)

Interesting using twin turbo V6 diesel. I think V10's are good Audi's engine at the minute is really good.

Be interesting to see what ACO decide to help Peugeot win le mans again......i did say that. pirat Suspect
