This weekend marks the start of the 2010 V8 Supercar Championship. Round1 comes from the Yas Maina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Big changes in drivers and cars over the winter, this season promises to be amazing yet again.

As far as i'm aware Bathurst will be live on motors in October with all the other events (expect the F1 support in Melbourne) on a week delay like last season.

I'll be watching the races on YouTube, Lukeyson1981 uploads both races and quallifying sessions plus V8Xtra news programmes.

Abu Dhabi races are this Friday and Saturday before the teams hop across to Bahrain next weekend for round 2 to race alongside GP2 Asia

Its great that they are racing in Abu Dhabi, the track seems to be well suited to just about any car. Smile But, Motors coverage is a week late? They really do still live in the 20th century.

I'll opt for the youtube coverage thanks.

Its not harsh anymore, they cannot even show same day V8 Supercars, and the WRC coverage is unbearable. No BTCC, no LMS, no ALMS and no DTM. And by the looks of things, no FIA GT either. They mostly show shit, third class racing that consist of highlight programmes. Barley anything is live anymore, except crappy motorcross.

They don't give what motor racing fans want anymore. They cannot even get there scheduling right, programmes often show at the wrong scheduled times. An utterly appalling channel.

4 from 4 for Whincup in the middle east the championship returns home this weekend, the Clipsal 500 from Adelaide.

Should be a cracker, been a few nasty shunts in the supports practice, a mini rolled, a mosler and Audi R8 LMS totalled aswell

Dammit, knew things were not looking good, with the rounds from symmonds plain not being uploaded, but thought things were getting better after the sandown rounds were put on.

Telstra also had the two qualifying/sprint races from phillip island removed so suppose it was only a matter of time before we lost it altogether. Suppose it's off to the second link for the finale at homebush.

Can't get darcy videos to work, in a file that no player recognises, even vlc!

Now work on Vlc media player Smile

Congrats to James Courtney for winning the 2010 V8 supercar championship and keeping it a Ford at the top as well. Although it was a very entertaining first race of the weekend at Sydney.

Wow, what an amazing race. That's perhaps the best race I've seen all year. All the key ingredient's were in place:

-Huge chaos
-Huge crashes (makes good for good TV)
-Safety Car Period
-Red Flag

Absolutely fantastic, cannot ask for anymore then that
