The rules Grand-am/indy car do is better let cars re-fuel and re-joining the race much better.

the crash at turn one/pit exit he push too hard. silly mistake.

OMG, what can you say about the DP car and the Porsche colliding? Laughing affraid affraid

Probably one of the most stupid looking things I've ever seen. But to give the drivers the benefit of the doubt, it is apparently ULTRA cold at Daytona, and racing rubber really doesn't operate very well in cold weather. But the DP driver just appeared to loose concentration as well, because it looked as if he just drifted off the track, and that lack of concentration lead him onto the grass which is extremely slippery and there is no way of controling the rear end.

I bet thats the first time that a car has crashed from pitlane into another GT car in pitlane.

The justin tv link is brilliant, really clear picture quality for an internet link. And so far, it hasn't broken up for me. Great race so far, how many cars are left in the race? Most of them seem to be retiring or badly wounded! pale

I guess you are watching the same stream as me Sav. I really can't fault it, It's been perfect stream which is strange as normally their cut out after 10 minutes or their are of poor quality. It's giving me a chance to just sit on my bed and watch on my 32 inch screen while having a few buds king

I was going to link this coverage to my HD TV in my room, cannot be bothered now. Yes indeed Steven and Paul, I'm watching the same link as you guys. Usually Justin TV links are quite dodgy and the picture breaks up, but its been totally faultless. Very Happy

I wonder why the 02 car went in? Mind you, the 09 car has issues. Come on Wilson and Pruett! Very Happy

There is one thing which I don't understand while watching racing streams from America, Nascar/ Grand Am etc, How come America, the worst country in the world for sueing people, never seem to have any adverts for solicitors and such, Not one advert saying

" God dang, Have you had a crash on the freeway in your pickup in the last 5 years"

Perhaps the dire economic situation has hoovered up most of those solicitor companies? Those companies rely on gullible and desperate members of the public, but with high rates of unemployment and generally cash-strapped consumers - contacting a solicitor (which you'll still have to pay thousands for) isn't at the top of people's priorities.

I remember watching NASCAR via justin tv two years ago, their were plenty of solicitor firms advertising, now the recession has set in - many of them probably haven't got the budget to advertise on TV.

The Grand-am series does work well. DP cars are great and also the GT cars think more GT will be coming the next few years.

Nah, Peugeot will win that race easily. Other teams chance of winning are as likely as the Labour party winning the next general election. There is a chance, but in the real world - nope.

This has been a superb race, well done to the Express team - winning on your debut is quite something. So the first two cars had nice quality German engines, none of this American rubbish. Wink Laughing

Well done to Mazda as well in the GT class, its not usual for somebody to beat Porsche's on a regular basis. I think Grand-Am works brilliantly, having two classes keeps things nice and simple - none of this four class nonsense which is unnecessary. The racing is unbelievable for a sports car series, its like touring car racing - only with more powerful cars.

This has to be the toughest 24 hour race as well, just look at how many cars crashed, had technical issues and limped home. These guys are professionals, but Daytona does seem to be a real car breaker.

oooo couldn't think of anything worse than the Conservative been in power. even though the labour are quite bad at the minute but David Cameron is a W*****

There is alot of darkness aswell well over 12hours i think. But alot of problem though out the race.
