Pesky Maseratis!

Anyway congratulations on their 5th Championship.

Commiserations to Anthony Kumpen and Mike Hezemans who couldn't have tried any harder.

Westbrook is the man in GT2, Kirkaldy/Bell 3rd place. At last a podium cheers

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I haven’t enjoyed a sportscar race like that since 09 Sebring. Their was always something going on.

One driver that impressed me immensely was Bernoldi, he was laughably slow compared to the rest, he held up various Masterati’s and Vette’s and disrupted drivers races – but the fact that he actually kept them behind was impressive. During the opening laps, that Maserati was clearly faster but Bernoldi kept the Maser behind, he took no shit and would defend his position at almost any cost – respect.

Westbrook is sensational under braking, the move on Bruni was as worthy as his Hungaroring move. The space was so small, and Westbrook took the initiative and saw where his rival was struggling.

Bernoldi was my driver of the race, his pace was worthy of an incompetent GP2 driver, but the maturity he showed certainly wasn’t.

As for Brazil 08, it depends if you are a Hamilton man, if you are – then it was the finale of the century!
lol!

Put that in the diary.......

I have to say Marco Holzer got my vote for driver of the day. He did a solid job as co-pilot to Westbrook. Only 21 years old, got a bright future.

I generally find FIA GT quite enjoyable, its more sprint racing which is my thing (unless its a sprint race for 12 hours, like this years 12 hours of Sebring Laughing ).
