It's not bad, though I think they should add a couple of rounds in July - I don't understand this whole "summer break" thing.

This year was the first time Rockingham was later in the year, 07 & 08 were both round 2 in April. Only a week break between Rockingham and Brands GP seems a bit daft when there's then a 4 week break until Oulton.
The summer break is supposed to avoid clashing with the British GP, football world cup and Tour de France.

I've always found football fans from Yorkshire particularly hilarious. For example, Barnsley fans quite happily chant "YORKSHIRE, YORKSHIRE, YORKSHIRE" but then chant abuse about fans of clubs in Sheffield, Leeds, Rotherham, Doncaster etc. I know football fans are hardly the brightest of sparks but I did find the contradiction particularly amusing. Laughing

I might make it to Rockingham in April. I've been looking at it and I should be going if I can raise the necessary funds. It's less than an hour from my home and I love it as a facility.

Rockingham is great for fans apart from ones wanting to take pix, as you're so far away from the cars in the grandstands. But from the Turn 1 grandstand you can see the whole of the track apart from the chicane leading back onto the start finish straight.
Also if you book before Jan 31st you get a free programme as well!

Ah, that is crucial. Nothing collides with F1 for me, so I may indeed go. And discover the delights of North Yorkshire. I shall see how delightful it actually is... Wink Laughing
