You could try tempting Mach with offers, but it looks like he is rather proud of his collection. Razz

Yep, there's a few good models there, quite a few came from car boots and toy fairs so keep your eye out.

I've a 1:18 of Andrea De-Cesaris car that he done his 200th race in - they only made 200. Think its in the attic.

Some of my favourites and in no particular order are.

1. Greg Moore's Champ Car.
2. Michael Schumacher in the Jordan 191.
3. Alexander Wurz in the Benetton 195.
4. Ralf in the Jordan.
5. All my West cars.

I like the fact that you have so many Champ Car diecadts from the series heyday, where did you get those from Mach, like Greg Moore's car? Smile

One of my regular Minichamp suppliers got it me. Only eight came into the UK and he bought three, one for me, one for himself and a spare, which before you ask ------- isn't for sale. That 1:18 of Greg cost me 80 and I wouldn't like to hazard a guess at its value now, especially as the 1:43 is worth more than what I paid for the 1:18.

I've always gone for the unusual and rarer models providing they're not to expensive - oh and the cheap ones. Some of the toy fairs and car boot dealers are getting wise to collectors now and will try and rip you off so be carefull, you may even be able to knock them down a tad which is why they hoik the price up in the first place. Then they think that your going to think they're doing you a favour. You gotta keep one step ahead as I'm sure your aware.

Happy Minichamp Hunting.

Here's a few more.

Hans Andersens hand painted bike from his Peterborough days.

A 1:18 of Andrea De-Cesaris commemorative 200th race car. Only 200 were made.

A 1:18 of Nigel Mansells McLaren.

Aye 24, it was in the garage in a box chucked in with a load of others. You should have seen the state of it before I took the photo.

I've a Mika in the orange McLaren test car somewhere - but where who knows - scratch

All you need is some white decal paper and you'll be sorted to have it back to normal. I may have some spare when i have finished a little conversion i am doing. So if you want it i'll gladly send it too you.

Ok mate, much appreciated. I'll check out our local toy shop first.

Is it the bit in the t-tray that you see missing ?
