Oh dear so Audi get beat at Le Mans and Petit then, I know in the wet the R15 was a lot faster. But Audi has to go back to the drawing board imo, the 908 is a good second a lap faster in dry conditions - and for the majority of the time it is dry. A well deserved victory by Peugeot, the leading Peugeot was catching the number 2 Audi had a significant rate anyway in the drying conditions. And of course's Mcnish's error under the safety car.

I think I saw the Risi Ferrari make an illegal pitstop, it should be banned - then BMW win GT2.

Audi Won Sebring Sav Wink are taking about Petit le mans

Peugeot staying out was also the winning move. Stephane Sarrazin drive before they pitted was brilliant because Franck Montagny got out ahead.

Audi R15 is alot closer to Peugeot 908 alot closer If Audi do a full season of ALMS there will be brilliant at le mans

Audi lead all the way to be honest and even though the race get call off anfd Peugeot won they is not over Sebring is where it will resume

I meant Petit, the thing is you cannot just assume Audi will dominate again next year. Audi imo made the critical mistake of not entering the R15 in more endurance races prior to Le Mans and learning how this completely new car works, considering they have been so dominate for so long I thought they would have known better than only enter a brand new car to 1 race before Le Mans.

The economy was the excuse, but that was a poor excuse considering how much turnover the VW Group generates. The R15 is closer, but up to 1.5 seconds a lap is still a lifetime and Peugeot won't be sitting around doing nothing, they will continue to develop their car. At the moment in 2009 taking into account the 908 and R15, Peugeot lead the way. The Peugeot team is now an awful lot stronger and make better strategy calls, and now have a much faster than than Audi. Audi had better do a full season of ALMS...

I agree Audi did mess up.

Audi is still sorting out there R15 and i agree there are still some seconds off but What Will Peugeot are they going to bring a new car next year ahead of the 2011 rules??? Will there car still be stronger.

You say The Peugeot team is now an awful lot stronger and make better strategy calls. Yes they are stronger but they still don't make the right strategy, The first pit stop Peugeot put wets on when they should put slicks...Le mans Peugeot came in one lap before even though they agree not to and the Pescarolo Peugeot hit the 07 Peugeot other right call by the team....

Very true mate Peugeot have quite a few mistakes, but nobody is perfect. Its about making the fewest critical mistakes as possible and that is what has happened in 2009 with Peugeot.

Have you guys read on Autosport? Audi may pull out of sportscars if the ACO don't allow the R15's front nose. Hmm... Sad

That is bad news, i know they trying to sort it out. Audi Not doing 2010 season would be a terrible since 2000 its been audi and its the last year the decade which has been audi!

Did you hear Wolfgang Ullrich talk about the GT3 car for 2011?? That would interesting
