After the long summer break following the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the teams and drivers taking part in the 2009 FIA GT Championship will shortly be heading back to the track... and this time back to the Hungaroring, for the Budapest City Challenge ! This will be the FIA GT Championship's 6th visit to the circuit. In 2006, on the last time we raced there, Zakspeed won the GT1 race with their Saleen S7R, driven by Bert, Janis and Montermini, while Scuderia Ecosse claimed victory in GT2, with Kirkaldy and Kinch.

Depends what it is, and if something minor (FIA GT) clashes with something major (F1). Well the coverage is better than the ALMS coverage, which is shown a week later.

lol!

I think FIA GT wont be around after 2010. Next year is just stupid 1hour race no GT1's at Spa. i bet most team will head to ALMS or LMS.

I will have both F1 and FIA GT on at the same if they clash.

Following post-race scrutineering, the nr 14 K plus K Motorsport Saleen S7R was excluded as it failed to conform to the Regulations, as the engine did not stall by blocking the restrictors. This raised the nr 1 Vitaphone Maserati MC 12 to take the win, followed by the nr 33 Vitaphone Racing Team DHL Maserati MC 12 and the nr 8 Sangari Team Brazil Corvette Z06.

That is a real shame as Ryan Sharp did an epic stint for K+K. His overtakes had nothing to do with whatever extra power he may/may not have had.
Westbrook put in another immense drive, showing patience when he needed to and aggression at exactly the right moments. From the back of the grid to first place in GT2 Shocked culminating in a do or die effort on Gimmi Bruni affraid . God in a Porsche cheers
