Aye, last years weather repeated would be ace. Looks like I am going race day only with the same guy as last year plus gf if I can finally persuade her and some other people. I'm sure I will split off and come find you.

It's only cos I got so pissed off with parents that I couldnt see the point in staying a weekend. Otherwise I'd have gone. In future I will see about tracks up here, Croft maybe.

Be better when I have a car Smile. (eventually again).

Paddy, Croft is brilliant to go to, you should really go next year, went for the first time this year, can see loads from the first corner complex.

It's Friday morning and we're heading off to Snetterton for the weekend camping there. Looking forward to the return of BTCC after a 7 week break. Like everyone i'm expecting the turbo Focus' to dominate, weather forecast says Sunday will be dry. Will go and explore the new spectator banking round the Bomb Hole, might watch from there on Sunday.

Great stuff Nick, enjoy it there and now i've met you I can just imagine you two sat on the banking with your stuff out Laughing
and the Focus might just fail again like it did at Croft too, Yes Steven won't like me saying that but its true it failed miserably at Croft Laughing

The Focus is incredible in a straight line, it just shows you what turbocharged torque can give a car. It handles poorly though, without engine braking it squirms under hard braking and looks unstable. It reminds me of the Seat Leon TDI, very fast in a straight line - but more understeer then other cars and poorer under braking.

Loved seeing Matt Neal retire in race 1, that was class, great to see Jason Plato win both races. Cool

Got back at 11 last night, been a good weekend, another wet one though, rained on Friday overnight heavily, a heavy shower during TC quali, and was still raining Sunday morning when we got up. Yesterday in the end was really hot though, was down at the Esses in more or less the same place as last year. Didn't see the incident in R2 with the sunshine cars and Boardman, have to watch the race on tv. Seemed less argy bargy than usual, maybe cos Plato was out front. Collard did shove Matt Neal at the Esses to get second in R3 though.
Not quite so sure about the new kerbs, the cars arent as spectacular at Russell as before, most of them giving the inside kerbs a wide berth.
Just a mention for Louise Richardson in Ginetta juniors, she had a great comeback drive after being taken out of the lead in the first race, great overtaking to get back to the front.
Post a bit more when i've seen the races.

Shame about the rain BHCP. At least Sunday was better for you though.

It wasn't the best weekend for Touring cars. Bumpy car wise, But there was still some good racing. Why are other drivers complaining about the Speed of the Ford. It's plain to see that it handles s**t in the corners. Laughing If it was that fast it should of won all the races at a place like Snetterton.

At least Neal didn't whinge to much about that move by Collard but I expect to see some contact between them in the near future.

It was a great drive by Louise Richardson in the Ginetta race I agree. Yeh ok she did get lucky with the spin in that she still pointed in the right direction so she didn't lose to much time. But was still a great drive. She ain't bad to look at either tongue
