The GP2 Series returns this weekend to the Hungaroring in Hungary acting as an F1 support event, GP2 usually puts on a good show even on this notoriously tricky track to overtake on. The championship battle is now very close, with Nico Hulkenberg taking the championship lead from Grosjean who had a poor weekend at the Nurburgring.

Sadly, we will have no live coverage this weekend as I write. On Saturday, feature race coverage is due to be shown at 16:45 pm on Eurosport, then the sprint race is due to be shown at 19:00 also on Eurosport. However, Eurosport are showing live Porsche Supercup at 10:45 on Sunday morning before the Formula One Grand Prix.

It would be pretty damaging for Grosjean if Hulkenberg were to win the title, at Nico’s first attempt as oppose to Grosjean’s second attempt.

The Hulk now has some momentum though, which is what happened for Rosberg and he stormed to the inaugral title after a great second half of the season in 2005.

I hope Hukenberg does win it, he was sensational in A1GP, where in my opinion he was even better than he was in Euro F3. Grosjean must be a little concerned, he has the experience but Hulkenberg learns quickly.

Di Grassi on pole, Grosjean crashed and Grosjean will start from the back: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/77199

Hmm, Grosjean gets in trouble again. I can imagine he will crash tomorrow, looks like the Hulk is in pole position for the title...

Great win by Hulkenberg, he really did drive a fantastic race - he was in a different league. Nice overtaking by Grosjean, he will be aiming for some points tomorrow to limit the championship deficit to Hulkenberg.

Not sure what Nunes was doing at the chicane. zero

Watched race 2 last night, typical Hungary race no action after lap 1. Van der Garde had a good win from 2nd on the grid, Grosjean lucked out from 10th to be 6 out of the 1st corner, which became 4th when Maldonado had his customary brain fade and took Rigon out at turn 4. The Hulk slipped back at the first corner and only got to 7th cos Dani Clos fell off the road ahead of him. So after the first lap not much happens.....
