Great Job Cerca, I didn't realise you are an editor as well. Do you have Bobs track builder or not?

I take it that is just different liveries to the standard cars on the game? Or do you new cars as well?

sadly i'm no modeller, I have used btb in the past but i never got very far, a lack of dedication.

most of the cars are oginal from the game, except the ferrari and the porsche. thats someone elses talent with my piant pointer thing! Very Happy

I have edited the pyhsics for a lot of the cars, like christophe bouchet does for gt3.

what track, lets start there have you got? Tracks are fairly easy as they go in the same place, extract the file )i'd recommend keeping your downloads in one place if you don't already. Extract the file there, most tracks have the main file at the top of the directory, just drop that file into gtr2/gamedata/locations sometimes people put them at the bottom of the directory, so search through and sub folders until you find the track file and do the same as above.

and then what cars?

hpoustons easy enough, see above. just be careful to put it in the right place and off you go.

the car, the first thing you need is the original mod http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=8506. Download that, extract the file and drop the gamedata file into the gtr2 directory, then drop the car into gtr2/gamedata/team/gt/ford gt teams

you might need to check the filters in the .car, see if there the same as the alms mod (not the best idea but it'll make them work)

yes you can, how long would ou like?

There are 2 ways to make long races

1) is to create a 24 hour race, to do this copy and paste one of the existing 24H gdb files and it's partnering .txt file. Rename them 24H_Enna and change the name of the track inside to 3Enna

example

SceneOrder
{
3Enna
}

and bobs your father

the other way is easier but can cause other problems.

got into gamedata/locations/Enna copy 3Enna.gdb to somewhere else, then open the original with notepad.

find

RaceLaps = 101
RaceTime = 180
RaceTimeScaled = 180

and edit them to

RaceLaps = 202
RaceTime = 360
RaceTimeScaled = 360

for a 6 hour race

or

RaceLaps = 404
RaceTime = 720
RaceTimeScaled = 720

change the race start time to

RaceStart = 00:00

and run midnight to midday like reims used to.

let me know what you want and I can make it up for you, if you want...

try this link

http://rapidshare.com/files/257253760/Enna_GDB.zip.html

un-zip and drop the file into gamedata/locations/enna, let it overwrite and in single race you can run 6 hours (there is a backup of the original file)
