Oh, now that makes sense chaps, if most private teams keep their cars for a couple of years. Thank you. Cool

Just as a point of interest Collard/Westbrook have developed a car with thoroughly consistent race pace. They are not the quickest in qualifying, but their qualifying pace is carried through to 2 hours of racing.
Which is why sports cars are so interesting.

porsche tend to get raced year after year. Sportscars tend to stay the same car for year after year. Even audi's, The car that won le mans last year was the same chassis that was leading the year before then dindo copello's wheel fell off.

and private teams keep there cars for years, theres something that has done the nruburgring 24 year after year, the same car.

I bet Dave Richards has been pulling a few strings. They don't need a spare, they need a replacement for the one that Joss the Boss binned. Or do they?

I'm still predicting a ginetta zytek win, it dosn't have a full driver line up in wither car, but it's potentially faster than the aston and who knows what audi and peugeot will get up to. GO LNT and Strakka Racing GINetta 1-2!

I'm off to Gareth's at the weekend to watch the race.

Can't guarantee to stay awake all 24 hours, though - I'm an "old man", now. Hope he has a Rocking Chair in "Cadpig Castle".

You'll have 4 Peugeot 908s chasing 3 Audi R15s, 4 Lola Aston Martin's chasing the Peugeots, A Pescarolo and Courage chasing the Lola's with a couple of Audi R10s tooling around with the sole intention of getting in everybody's way except the works Audis. That's 15 cars out to ruin Ginetta's day.
I don't think so.

Well let's hope that the No 6 makes it to the end. Assuming they make the start, Nigel Moore will be the youngest British Driver to enter and the youngest ever driver of an LMP1 car.
If they cross the line after 24 Hours, he will be the youngest ever finisher. gbflag gbflag

The race winner seems to have toned down the orange. It looked more metallic before.
