^^^^ Yep, it is m8. That is where the DTM drivers were last year.

I watched the end of qualifying on A1GP's live video stream it is not bad apart from the fuzzy picture quality. I really hope Ireland win the title, Carroll really deserves it - he has driven superbly this season.

Neel Jani stuffed up big time there, he is lucky get qualified fourth for the feature race.

Is Sky Sports becoming disinterested in A1GP? They aren't showing any live coverage this weekend. I suppose you can hardly blame them, trying to schedule in races must have been a nightmare this season - with all the cancellations. Viewing figures must be down too then, if Sky are not bothering to show any coverage live. With only 7 races this season, perhaps you can understand why.

fia gt because if you don't watch it live you won't.

wtcc snooze, didn't bother assuming seat, seat, seat, seat, seat etc

a1gp will be the end of the week

MOTO GP comes first (with 125 and 250) which will be the best racing all weekend. Don't forget British superbike live monday on eurosport

Congratulations to Team Ireland, I am extremely happy for them. Adam Carroll has really made the difference in the team imo, after years of sluggish results. Carroll really deserves this, after years of hunting to find race seats.

Sadly, the same cannot be said for the racing itself. It was dreadful, their was barley any overtaking in either race. Brands Hatch is wonderful, but really not suited to big, powerful single seaters.

I hope our two race attendees had a good day out.

Well done team Ireland and Team Switzerland for good championship.

I agree with you on the racing sav, A1GP needs to change a few things. They had problems for the begin problems with car, events getting cancelled with development work coming on the cars hopefully it will be better next season

Team GBR Shocking season. The only thing we got was double podium from Danny Watts. I hope its true that johnny herbert is going to run Team GBR. Dan clark did brilliant move on australia

It was a good day m8, met Dave (guess where?...) lol!

i totally agrre m8, the A1 cars are too big for Brands, but the GT cars afterwards OMG! affraid

some amazing racing in the historics. watching a Mini fighting with a BMW and Camaro's and overtaking them. WICKED! It did help we were on the inside at Druids, but still good, we had an Aston Martin DB4 hit the wall infront of us on the other side of the track and another DB$ hit right in front of us.

Great Weekend. Did not get any autographs Suspect

yep i think the a1gp cars were kinda playing follow the leader around brands though i did see a few small overtake attempts out in the forest Rolling Eyes. the gt's i never saw much of as i was busy with "other" stuff and the fpa cars well need i say more... sound like a load of dyson hoovers going around!!. the historics was deffo good to watch as was the lotus cup which i managed to get a small injury from after an off at the druids hairpin. all in all i had a great 4 days at brands im so happy my man got the title and well deserved it was too....so mark,gary...and all the boys..WELL DONE !!. not forgetting adams 2 poles and 2 wins. Very Happy Cool First winner

I'm back from a cracking three days at A1GP, have to say that the weather was absolutely superb for most of the weekend, however it was a little chilly on Sunday morning, especially when I was only wearing a t-shirt and shorts and left my fleece at home! I won't be making that mistake again in a hurry.

I have to say that Ireland fully deserved to win the championship, they were the superior team all weekend and the tone for the weekend was set when Carroll took pole for the Sprint Race without using his powerboost. I'm sure the rest knew they were fighting a losing battle from that moment forward. The double was no more than he and the team deserved for a great season's work. As for Team GB well a shocking season tbh, although Dan Clarke did well to get 7th in the Feature Race, although I felt he had hardly deserved it considering the poor weekend that he had.

I must agree with that most of the A1GP racing was largely processional, the only moves seemed to occur during the pitstops which is never a good sign imo. The only action I saw was Team NZ spinning off in front of me in the Feature Race, which was down to simple driver error at the end of the day.

The rest of the racing over the weekend was pretty good, the Formula Junior races were both very close, and the sight of some of the cars was amazing. The Heritage GT has always been a favourite of mine and this weekend was no different, although I was little disappointed that the Talbot Sunbeam Lotus of Joss Ronchetti retired from the second race when a win was on the cards. The FPA races were pretty close, and I think Josef Newgarden is going to be a man to watch in the coming years as he won two of the three races in a one-off appearance in the series.

The GT Cup races were blighted by safety cars and red flags and the incident which ended the second race of the weekend early was a mega one on the run down Hawthorns, which left parts of the barriers looking destinctly second-hand! The Lotus Trophy races had mega fields and some entertaining battles throughout the field, which bodes well for the series in the future.

A couple of points I noticed was that the crowd seemed to be down somewhat on previous years. Now of course there are various potential reasons for this, and I'm sure JP is asking these kinds of questions as we write. Also there was the distinct lask of A1GP merchandise on sale throughout the weekend, which I'm sure isn't going to help the series make any money in the future tbh.

Sounded as if you guys had a good weekend, I can concur with some of you're thoughts. Last year A1GP was processional and the support races were great, especially the historics. From what you guys are saying the support races were again brilliant.

Team Ireland certainly deserve the title, them and Switzerland have been a class above the test, with perhaps Portugal sniffing around sometimes. Carroll has had so much uncertainty over these past years, and considering what a great driver he is - it could not have happened to a more deserving driver. Carroll is rumoured to be going to F1 next year, I hope it all works out for him.

I think the lack of people attending is partially down the recession, and partially to do with the lack of organisation of the series - and generally due to the lack of excitement. We all know how A1GP has had team problems and race cancellations, which must frustrate fans. The racing has been very poor in general this year - which is hardly going to inspire fans to turn up.

A1GP should go to Silverstone Grand Prix circuit, I would bet on my life the racing being better.
