Very suprised at the Aprilla being down the order, But with 3 Brit's in the top 15 hopefully it might be a good weekend on Two and Four Wheels.

Does anyone know if 'Hoppa' will be racing tomorrow after his crash?

Hopper not racing, dislocated hip and has torn all the muscless around his femur Sad

I think there is a good chance Neukirchner can get his 1st race win this season here, he normally goes well at Assen Very Happy Would like to see Sykes go well, he is quality cheers

Good chance of another Brit win in Supersport an all, Cal Crutchlow on pole with Eugene Laverty (My favourite First ) starting 4th

Doesn't sound too good for Hopkins.

It would be good to see Max win but to be honest I can't see past another Spies - Haga victory. For both races.

Different Year but same old Assen. Some fantastic racing again from Dutchland Laughing

Fantastic battle between Spies, Haga and Haslam in the first race. The Supersport's was just as mental with Laverty winning by an inch from Crutchlow.

This is what bike racing is about. I wish they would stop going to these Tilke tracks and stick to old circuits which provide the best racing.

Yep it was superb racing again as usual at Assen, just wish they had kept the old monster of a circuit instead of using the cutdown version that is used nowadays.

Spies is turning into a win or bit it man, as so far he has won four races, finished second once and crashed the other three races. He is giving Haga too much of a start in the championship imo, and as long as Haga is consistent and finishes then he should be looking good for the title this year.

Haslam has really impressed me this season, I was one of the people who thought that he would do poorly this season and so far he has proved me wrong in no uncertain terms.

He is finding it a lot tougher racing in Wsbk then in AMA that's for sure. Still he is doing a great job in his first season at tracks he doesn't know. 4 out of 4 in Superpole proves that.

I am not a fan of one rider winning all the time so I hope he learns quickly that he must finish both races at each event if he wants to be crowned champion.
As much as I love to watch Haga and I want him to win it this year, I still don't want him winning every race.

I agree about Haslam, I knew he would perform better then what was expected but that was to be challenging for maybe top 10, Not to be challenging for wins. Haslam is my favourite rider out of the Brit's who moved into WSBK but I thought it would be Johnny Rea on the works Honda to be the first Brit.

WSBK round 5 from Monza.

Motorbikes from Monza geek or F1 from Spain Sleep , No point in answering which one is better.

Cracking first race from Monza, Which got stopped for an hour due to a crash on the first corner, Bad look for Max the German (Can't spell his name Laughing ) as he has a suspected broken leg. Bad news for Smith.

Spies was leading going into the parabolica on the last lap when his bike failed, I think he ran out of fuel. Fabrizio wins from Haga and Kyo. Great race.

Crutchlow won the Supersport race cheers

Waiting for race 2. I hope Spies can win this race otherwise Haga is starting to build a big gap, As much as I like Haga, I love a good championship battle better.

Paul no offence, LMS from Spa might have been good, if I could of watched more then 15 minutes of it. You always have to laugh at people who spin on the warm up lap Laughing

It was a shame to see Haga out but at the same time, Keeps the championship interesting.

He's as much of a tw@t as Brendan Roberts (The fella who broke Neukirchner's leg and dislocated his foot), i.e a fookin big one! lol!

Fabrizio is a sketchy fella though, at one point i was sure he was going to take Haga out Shocked lol!

lol! Max would have struggled to keep in the top 6 anyway I think. It is a shame though, I wonder if they will have anyone to replace him, Maybe Nieto will come back in for a race or two.

It was just unfortunate that the bike came back across the grass and hit him. I do belive there should try and change the first chicane as it is a pointless corner/s.

I think he could of challenged for a podium tbh (And i know, i have said that alot this season and been wrong alot lol! ), the Suzuki has great straight line speed and i guess Neukirchner like's the track as he got his 1st win there, look at Kagayama, he was up near the front at points affraid lol!

Kagayama always has one good race a season lol! He will not finish at the round. He just wins at the Suzuka 8 hour and that's it.

The Ducati and Yamaha are the fastest bikes out there, I twas hard for the other to keep up on the long straights

Good ride from Kyo today though, South Africa next so who knows what will happen.

Aparently it was a bird which caused Haga to crash in race 2. A bird hit him on the arm which meant loss of concentration dropping him back to 15th, With his arm still not right he couldn't keep control of the bike and fell a few laps later

http://www.crash.net/World+Superbikes/News/146625/1/bird_caused_haga_delay_accident.html

It's a good job it wasn't a flock of Seagulls,

Otherwise they would of had to start to run before Davide Tardozzi got hold of them.

10 pts to the first person to get that first.

Nope, not quite got that one yet Steven scratch scratch

Got to say that the racing in all classes today was superb as usual at Monza, remincent of the great battles that used to take place at Hockenheim when that was a proper circuit and not today's rubbish.

It was good to see Kiyo finally performing at last this weekend, tbh I had forgotten he was out there on the evidence of his awful start to the season. Hopefully this will be a turning point for him but with SA next then who knows what will happen.

Was a mental race weekend at Kyalami, glad they went back there after 7 years away. Regis has come out of his coma and is making progress, but he will be out for sometime after that horrific crash.

Haga is being to dominate the championship now, Spies and the rest are going to need a few DNF's from him if they are going to get back in the title hunt. Spies was well unlucky in the second race, seems to be that kind of season for him tbh, I'm sure if he doesn't win the title this season he will manage it in 2010 if he doesn't goes elsewhere.

The Brits are absolutely dominant in WSS, Crutchlow leads the championship by 13 points from Laverty (Eugene). It is clear to see that these two have come and upset the regular's which is good imo, for both them and the championship.
