BTCC returns this weekend at Thruxton circuit.

Qualifying times: http://www.crash.net/BTCC/Results/145874/1/thruxton__qualifying_times.html

Well done Gio, but a very well done to Plato - what a class driver. I hope he overtakes Neal. Razz Razz Thommo in 8th, not bad. Look at Pickney, completely dire.

Great return from Paul O'Neill as well, fingers crossed for him and the team. 10th good from Mat Jackson on his return and in a different car as well. Shame the BTCC clashes with the F1 tomorrow.

great result for Vauxhall in race 1, good drive from O'Neill.

nearly there in race 2 as well, but great driving from Turkington. Paul O'Neill was unlucky in the middle of the sandwich in the complex, but he fought back to 10th and starts race 3 from pole

The racing was good today, I loved race 3 - Plato overtaking Neal! Twisted Evil Matt Jackson was superb in race 3, what a lead he had after the safety car pulled in. Surprised

I didn't get to see race 2 (F1 takes precedence over anything). But I heard it was fantastic. It is nice to see Vauxhall not dominating everything.

Why the safety car in the first race? Usually the race director is excellent, but the Seat had been their for ages - why decide its in a dangerous position 10 minutes later? That was a NASCAR-style SC period, bunch up the pack.

Yes, great for Mat Jackson, i really hope he can get a deal together for the rest of the season. O' Neill was unlucky, was gutted for the sunshine/techspeed guys. I shall be going to the Donington round (assuming it does take place).
