I Sky + todays Barcelona WSR race and just watched it now, OMG - I was falling asleep. What rubbish racing, I have seen way better racing at Barcelona with GP2.

I will not bother I think.

But I have recall seeing much better GP2 races at Barcelona. I will give it a go, but it won't get in the way of mt favourite series.

Spa was good, great performance from James Walker to pit early and put in the times to overhaul the leader in race 2.

Eurosport have a highlights prog listed Sunday night about 9.30pm i think for Monaco.

I watched the first race from Spa. And was mystified by the ultra boring racing. I watched race 1, and was not bowled over by it. Spain was boring too, WSR seems dire. How can GP2 and Formula International Masters be so much better?

Glad I did not order those Silverstone tickets, woefully poor racing.

Eurosport let us down last night, and we had another Brit victory, Oliver Turvey winning. Richard Westbrook done a great job fending off Rosina? in the Supercup race

Well Eurosport could have shown WSR live, I agree. They did show Supercup live though.

Well, WSR in previous years have tried to emulate the look of the Renault F1 car, with more bargeboards and aero add ons. But now that F1 has completely gone the other way, yes you would have to say that WSR cars are very ugly. And produce boring racing.

Anyone else got Silverstone on the agenda?

If so I might attend, otherwise I might give it a miss...

But if I do decide to go I've got to get a new car between now and then, unfortunately, as mine has been declared terminal today :-(

I would have requested tickets for WSR, however the series does absolutely nothing for me. From the races I have watched so far on Eurosport, the racing is completely dire. Itís a good opportunity to meet forum members, however the racing is so crap Ė thereís little point in spending money on transportation getting to Silverstone.

The only reason why I went to LMS last year because I wanted to experience something new, and it was free. With WSR, I have seen enough junior single seater series (Iím sure we all have). Iím going to FOS on Friday anyway, thatís my motorsport fix well and truly.

After that, Iím attending DTM in September. WTCC in July perhaps too.

I can see what you're saying about F3.5 (as they're now calling it) but having the Clio Cup and Megane Trophy on the bill ensure we do get some proper racing during the day and the 2 F Renault 2.0 series are usually good entertainment as well.

I saw that race live today, it doesn't seem like an awfully interesting circuit or particularly unique track. I don't really know how to describe it, all the corners are just so, well ordinary. Saying that, passes for position happened at least three corners once the race settled into a rhyme - so thats encouraging.

Team US F1 will be using that track as a European base.

it wasn't great,a nother tilke crap hole

the lay out looked much better on paper, all the corners are too square and that seems to be tilkes problem.

Although they were overtaking moves at three corners, their wasn't much overtaking, and for a spec series that is worrying. Perhaps suggests that other types of racing may also lack overtaking, I just thought there were too many twists and turns which were bland.

it as too twisty, it was also tilke twisty.

it could be good for gt racing but thats about it.

spec series don't seem to produce good racing, just the cream rising to the top.

I fear that its just been designed as an F1 testing facility, and not much else. Which is a bit silly, with winter testing restricted and no in-season testing allowed. I think the track will struggle to attract other top series.

Spec racing is usually great, like GP2 and F2. But WSR has always left me curiously cold.
