Some great news for those going to Brands Hatch next month.

Agostini and Phil Read to do demo laps round the circuit

http://www.crash.net/british+superbikes/news/149573/1/agostini_to_appear_at_brands_hatch_bsb.html

Honda 6 going to be their as well. That bike alone is worth the entrance fee.

Simon Andrews came so close to winning his first BSB race.

He did in my eyes anyway. Never mind what the results say. Anyone would think their wanted Camier to win the title?

He won race 2 anyway.

I am so pissed off with Josh Brookes. Evil or Very Mad Angry

Yep sounds like Brookes had a death wish from what I can gather, and the race result was so much of a joke that even Burnicle couldn't believe it. They are handing the title to Camier on a plate. At least Brookes has got a two race ban wish should get him to buck his ideas up a bit.

4 different make of bikes in one season

That's what Micheal Rutter will be doing at Brands Hatch this weekend as he is taking Simon Andrews place on the MSS colchester Kawasaki as he recovers from wrist surgery.

Rutter will try and tame the Green machine after all ready racing Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki this season.

Has anyone ever riden 4 different makes of bike in a single season Shocked

Who knows he may get a call up yet to replace Hayden at Ducati or Nakano on the Aprilla lol!

Seems like a good race though, Brands is better suited to motorbikes than cars imo.

Wow that was a mega crash. He is very lucky and I suppose lucky that there isn't a fence their. If the bike did break on him he done very well to stay on it when he did and to avoid crashing into anyone.

How long until Camier wins the title. Surely it has to happen next time out. Seeing those old bikes go round makes me wish I was there, They sounded good on tv so what it must of been like at the circuit Cool

I wish I could get a photo of Parkes and Camier wheeling side by side going down pilgrims drop in race 1. ten

Some of the support racing was mega yesterday i thought, and unless Camier has another Cadwell 2007 moment he has it won Sad Hopefully Easton can get second though, he caught a few points on Ellison yesterday Very Happy

Did anyone else hear the interview with Colin Wright where he said that Josh Brookes is his number 1 target next year, i think if Brookes calms down a bit he could do very well thumbsup

Also, well done to Dan Kneen from the IOM who got a second place on his return from a broken leg in the Superstock 600 bravo He should of won it but looked round at the wrong point Embarassed

Yep the classic bikes were the highlight of the weekend, the sounds were awesome, the smells were great too, and meeting Agostini was superb. It was great to get so close to someone with so much history.

As for the racing, it was one big yawn all weekend tbh. If it wasn't for Parkes being there, I think most of the people there would have fell asleep long before the end of the weekend. At this rate he will have the title sealed with at least two rounds to go, which isn't good for the series imo.

There were plenty of big offs during the weekend, Martin's shunt was bad, but not as bad as the incident in the Superstock 600 race, where some bloke on the floor got hit by a following rider, and he broke at least one of his legs. He was just lucky he hit his legs and not his head.

There was indeed a few big crashes and everytime that happens at Brands Hatch you start to get worried. Or I do anyway.

That superstock crash was just after Druids wasn't it, Thankfully the bikes wouldn't have been going at their fastest.

Mmm yes the smell of them old bikes would of been amazing as well. Something you don't get these days.

Smith. Brookes is a very good rider, Just I don't like him now for taking Andrews out lol! He has showing already how quick he can be, He just needs to patience himself for trying to pass people. Airwaves Yamaha are going to need somebody to replace Camier because he will definalty be in Wsbk paddock next season, Either Superbike or Supersport.
If Ben Spies replaces Lorenzo at Fiat Yamaha then Camier could walk straight into the team.

Yep the crash at Druids happened right in front of me, and having seen Craig Jones's accident last year, it didn't make me feel good for sure.

While Camier is a good rider, just how good is he? I mean okay he beat Parkes fair and square three times, but those bikes are hardly troubling the scorers in WSB are they? Considering they claim that the bike is 98% of the bike that Spies is riding it doesn't look that good. TBH I think it says more about the weakness of the rest of the championship rather than the strength of Camier.

What I want to know is why Airwaves haven't got the balls to step back up to WSB level? After all the last three years riders have wanted the team to step up with them and yet they still resist, and it looks like it will be the same next season too. Surely it would be better for all concerned if they took on a bigger challenge.

I just wish we had Guintoli for the full season. Am not saying he would of stopped Camier but I don't think he would of had as many easy victories or as many victories as he has got.

But who knows, Next season I think will even up again. Maybe a few WSBK drop outs will enter.

Yep I think Ginters would have given Camier a run for his money for sure, I wonder if he is going to be back next season or if he is going to return to world level.

Yep great news that he is back, although I'm a little surprised that he has put some pressure on himself by saying that he feels he can win this season, but it will be great if someone can finally take it to Camier again.

A little bit too late sadly. I can't see Camier not scoring in any of the last few rounds, Unless he suffers at the Mountain again which he did back in 07 which I really don't wish for. That was awful to watch.
